サイズ:2.7m x 3.6m x2.2m

 

高さ2.2m、間口2.7m、奥行き3.6mの直方体のテントをキャンバス地で作りました。入り口は小さく、人がかがんで入るようにしました。洞窟や古墳に入っていくような雰囲気です。その内部の天井、床、壁全てに古館が水彩とボールペンを使って主に人のイメージのドローイングをほどこしています。会場内には照明は無く、観客はペンライトでその中に忍び込みます。そこでは自身が持つペンライト以外の光がないので、すぐに全体を理解することができません。ペンライトのわずかな範囲を確認できるのみです。

Title : Collaboration between an artsit and a space series / Blood and Sand

materials : canvas,wood,watercolor,ballpoint,penlight.

A collaboration between Tetsuo Furudate who is an experimental music artist and Suzuki. Furudate joins as a painter not a musician for this installation. A tent by canvas_ 2.7m(9ft) x 3.6m(12ft) x 2.2m(7ft) _is made. An image of the inside of the tent is like a cave or a tomb.
Furudate draws portraits by the watercolor and the ball-point on the wall,ceiling and floor of the inside of the tent . THe height of the entrance is not enough for adult, visitors have to bend down. Visitors creep into it having a torch. They can not get a view of the whole installation in a moment. Because there is no lightin the installation, and very dark.
They can see only small area which is lighted by the torch .
