この作品には障子紙が使われている。障子紙はある時はスクリーンになり、ある時は壁のかわりになる。またある時は磨りガラスのような役割をする。紙であっても字や絵を描く素材でもなくそこに張られることによって役割を果たす。光を通すけれども姿は見えない。

この障子紙を張った木枠を壁のように組み立て、迷路のような通路を制作。通路には電球がつり下げられ、この電球がタイマーによって自動的に点滅し、また赤外線センサーによって人の動きに反応して点滅する。タイマーは４つあり、その各々に独自の電球が接続されている。タイマーは約５－８秒間電球を点灯し、20秒から30秒消灯する。これらはセッティングが異なっているために時間と共にそれぞれのタイミングがずれていき、観客が点滅の予測をすることは難しい。赤外線センサーも４つセットされ、その各々に独自の電球が繋がれている。観客が赤外センサーの間を通過するとその位置から直接見えない場所の電球が４秒間点灯し、その後自動的に消灯する。

この電球の点滅によって思わぬ時に壁の向こう側にいる観客の影や微妙な色を見ることができる。また、逆に反対側の観客によって自分の影や動き、色などが見られることになる。

material - varnish is used for adding more translucence. Also, some parts of the paper are ripped out so that some holes are made. These varnish stains and the holes, add new imaginary layers to the existing two paper layers.

4 timers and 4 infrared sensors are set. Each timer and each infrared sensor is connected with one electric bulb. The timers have different settings and they make the bulbs turn on for 10-15 sec. and turn off for 30-49 sec. When the viewers/participants walk through the point, the infrared sensors make bulbs turn on for 3-5 sec. and then they turn off automatically. Each infrared sensor is connected with bulbs that cannot be seen directly from the point of the sensor. When viewers/participants walk through the installation they see their shadows and a very subtle color information behind the walls. They cannot control it. Sometimes they can get some kind of information about other viewers/participants from behind the walls, and sometimes they are seen from the back of the walls.
